Our Celebrate Spring Event is a quick and easy way for homeschoolers, virtual learners, and all other PreK-12th grade students to receive an updated Spring portrait!
The Details
Modern School Portraits by Angela Vaughns Photography is a more custom and candid option for school portraits than your average school portrait provider. We pride ourselves on capturing a technically sound photograph that also showcases each child’s individual personality. We don’t like the word “cheese” and we do not believe in forcing a smile. Our goal is authenticity and natural expressiveness. We aim to provide the children a fun and light photography experience where they can relax and be themselves.
Mallory Tay formed Hipster Hops Rabbitry for the love of rabbits, creativity and an interest in genetics. Hipster Hops is a small, homegrown rabbitry that nurtures our emotional health during this time of uncertainty. Mini Rex, Lionhead and Holland lop bunnies will be available for pictures and cuddles.
There is no cost to come and visit with the bunnies! If you would like pictures taken, with or without the bunnies, there is a $40 fee. This fee includes one (1) high resolution digital file of your choice. An email will be sent with a private link to your image gallery within two weeks, along with a coupon code to redeem your included image.
Have your child wear something that they are comfortable in and will feel good wearing! Images will be taken from the waist up.
What NOT to wear:
Avoid neon or fluorescent colors - these colors will reflect back onto your child's face.
Avoid distracting choices such as hoodies, shirts with large pictures, logos, or words
Within two weeks of picture day, you'll be emailed a link to your child's image gallery.
The amount of images varies per child. We aim to provide galleries with at least 4 images per child to choose from. Each child has a unique personality and yields different results. Some children really love the camera, while others are a little more reserved.
The entire ordering process is completely online. About two weeks after the session, you will be emailed your child's private online image gallery. In your gallery, you'll find the coupon code to redeem your (1) included high-resolution digital image file. Through your gallery, you will be able to purchase studio-quality print products and additional high-resolution digital files. All products will be shipped directly to your home. Purchased digital files will be emailed to you. Your gallery will be open to view, share, and place orders for three weeks.
Our goal is to capture the authentic personality of the children we photograph, on the day. Each child is unique, and sometimes children are simply not in the mood to smile. We do our best to photograph different expressions, but can not guarantee that your child will smile. We never use the word "cheese" and don't try to force children to do anything they are uncomfortable with.
All Angela Vaughns' Photography team members are vaccinated and boosted. All portraits are taken outside in the fresh air. We wear masks and practice social distancing . All ordering is processed online and your print products are shipped directly to your door.
