DMV Family Photographer

All you have to do to begin the adventure is send an inquiry my way! Share a bit about the session you’re hoping to plan,  and I’ll personally be in touch to keep the conversation going. You'll also be sent a calendar to schedule a chat. During our call, feel free to ask all the questions you have about the photography process. And before you ask, yes, it’s totally fine if your kids can’t sit still! If you feel we are a perfect fit, I’ll send the agreement and retainer invoice your way. Once I receive both back from you, crank the Bruno Mars, Beyoncé, or whatever gets you in a party mood because you’ve just booked your family photographer!

WHETHER YOU’RE READY TO BOOK OR JUST WANT TO KNOW MORE, AN INQUIRY IS THE PLACE TO START.

Prepare for Your Session

My goal is to make sure you feel 100% confident about every aspect of your session, and that starts on day one! Immediately after you’ve booked your session, I’ll send an in-depth session guide your way. In it, you'll find wardrobe suggestions, how to prep (or not prep) your home, and what happens before, during, and after your session. Two weeks before your session, we will hop on a zoom call to meet "face to face",  go over your session details, and answer any final questions. And if a new question or concern should arise at any point in the journey, I’m always just an email away!

YOU DON’T HAVE TO DO IT ALONE! I’LL MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EVERYTHING YOU NEED FOR AN AMAZING SESSION.

enjoy time with your loved ones

During your session, your only responsibility is to have a fun time with your family! Through gentle direction and prompting, I’ll help you settle into natural interactions and moments that feel authentic to you. The most important thing for you to do is have fun! We’ll play some music, let the kids be kids, and laugh a whole bunch as we totally change the way you think of family photo sessions forever. Get ready to have a blast!

WITH THE PREP BEHIND US, NOW YOU GET TO JUST CONNECT SINCERELY WITH YOUR FAVORITE PEOPLE ON THE PLANET.

relive the best moments

Just two weeks or less after your unforgettable session, I’ll notify you that your images are all edited and ready to view. We’ll then schedule an in-person or Zoom session for your reveal and ordering appointment. During this session, you’ll get to see aaaaaall your images, choose which ones you’d like to keep, and order any additional artwork that will decorate your home. I offer fully customizable physical products with a wide range of colors and styles, but don't worry about getting overwhelmed! I'll use my eye for design to help you create each heirloom.

GET READY TO SMILE, LAUGH, AND MAYBE EVEN WIPE AWAY A TEAR AS WE EXPLORE THE ART WE CREATED TOGETHER.

fill your walls with love

I know you can’t wait to decorate your home with your radiant family photos, and I can’t wait to get them to you! So, just a month after your ordering appointment, your artwork will arrive, and we’ll set a time for your in-person delivery. For years to come, you’ll be able to enjoy the artwork we’ve created together, and then pass them on to future generations of your family.

THIS IS WHAT IT’S ALL ABOUT: TRANSFORMING MOMENTS WITH THE PEOPLE YOU LOVE INTO LASTING HEIRLOOMS

Have Questions? I'd love to Answer them! Feel free to contact me if your answer isn't found below!

I always recommend an in-home session! It's personal and convenient, and your kiddos will be the most themselves in their home environment.  In-home sessions are laid back, informal, and have an element of documentary-style photography. An in-home session allows me to capture you and your loved ones in a comfortable and relaxed way. We can photograph your family inside your home, in your backyard and front porch. We'll plan a few activities to focus on during your session.

I always aim to capture the love, joy, and connection between family members, and in those instances, all eyes are not on the camera, but on each other. While I may photograph a few images of everyone looking directly, at the camera, that is not the goal.

It's ok if your home is not in pristine condition. Some regular tidying up will do, and we can always move clutter out of the frame as we go. No worries! Please don't clear away all evidence of a family living in your home. Your belongings add so much to your family's story!

Parents and children should wear something comfortable, true to your style, and makes you feel good! Nothing to loose or too tight.  Before your session, we'll discuss tips and more specific suggestions customized for you and your family.

No worries! The awesome thing is that I am not expecting your children to sit still at all! I place no expectations on your children but to be themselves! The sessions I can’t get enough of are actually the loud, rowdy ones with squirmy kids giggling hysterically while climbing all over mom and dad.

say hello!

To start the conversation, just send me a "hello" using the inquiry form. You'll immediately receive more session info, and I'll personally follow up with you to keep the conversation going.
