Family sessions are lifestyle-focused portrait experiences centered on connection—the way you laugh together, love on each other, play, cuddle, and simply exist as a family.
Rather than spending the entire session looking at the camera, I’ll gently guide you into moments that allow real interaction to happen. We’ll absolutely capture a few classic portraits of everyone together, but the heart of your gallery will be the relationships and connection between the people you love most.
That might look like little arms wrapped around your neck, siblings being siblings, belly laughs, quiet snuggles, dancing in the kitchen, or the beautiful chaos that comes with this particular season of family life. Nothing needs to be perfect. It just needs to feel like you.
For newborn families, we take that same relaxed, connection-focused approach and bring it into your home. Your baby is photographed naturally with the people who love them most—snuggling, feeding, soothing, tiny details, and all those quiet moments that make the newborn days what they are.
Family sessions may take place in your home or at an agreed-upon location throughout the DMV. Newborn sessions take place in your home, where we can slow down, follow baby’s lead, and document this new chapter as it naturally unfolds.

Whether you're ready to book or simply want to learn more, an inquiry is the perfect place to start.
All you have to do to begin the adventure is send an inquiry my way! Tell us a little about the portraits you're hoping to create, and we'll be in touch to continue the conversation.
We'll talk through what you're looking for, answer any initial questions, explain the experience and pricing, and make sure we're a great fit. If you're ready to move forward, we'll send you a private link to officially book your session.
YOU DON’T HAVE TO DO IT ALONE! I’LL MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EVERYTHING YOU NEED FOR AN AMAZING SESSION.
Once we know we’re a great fit, we’ll send you a private booking link with everything you need to reserve your session.
You’ll choose your session date, review and sign your photography agreement, and pay the $395 Session Fee. Once those pieces are complete, you’re officially booked!
From there, we’ll schedule your personalized Zoom planning appointment with Angela and Ish and start bringing all the details together.

Once you're booked, we'll meet on Zoom to plan your session together.
We'll talk through wardrobe, location, the people being photographed, and what you'd love to capture. It's also the perfect time to ask questions and make sure everyone feels comfortable and prepared.
No questionnaires or lengthy session guides; just a real conversation so we can get to know you and create a session that feels like you.

GET READY TO SEE YOUR PORTRAITS FOR THE FIRST TIME!
Within approximately three weeks of your session, you’ll receive a private online gallery of your edited images.
From your gallery, you’ll choose the Portrait Collection that feels right for you. Collections begin at $995 and include a selection of digital images along with an artwork credit to apply toward professional prints and products made to live beyond your screen.

Once you've chosen your favorites, purchased digital images will be available to download directly from your private gallery.
If you've ordered professional prints or artwork, those pieces will be carefully produced and delivered according to the product you've selected.
