Personality Portraits for Kids, Tweens, Teens & Seniors
Personality Portraits are individual portrait sessions created for kids of all ages—from the little years through the tween and teen years, all the way to high school graduation.
Because every age deserves to be remembered.
The missing teeth and belly laughs. The tween who suddenly has very specific opinions about everything. The teenager discovering their own style. The graduating senior who somehow went from kindergarten to cap and gown in approximately five minutes.
These sessions aren’t about expecting your child to perform for the camera or show up with some huge, bubbly personality. Quiet, silly, serious, confident, shy, quirky, thoughtful—I photograph who they actually are.
I’ll provide plenty of guidance while giving them room to relax and settle into the experience. The result is a collection of portraits that feels like them; not just what they look like, but who they are at this exact point in their life.
Personality Portraits are designed for one individual and may take place in my Alexandria studio or at an agreed-upon outdoor location throughout the DMV.

All you have to do to begin the adventure is send an inquiry my way! Tell us a little about the portraits you're hoping to create, and we'll be in touch to continue the conversation.
We'll talk through what you're looking for, answer any initial questions, explain the experience and pricing, and make sure we're a great fit. If you're ready to move forward, we'll send you a private link to officially book your session.
YOU DON’T HAVE TO DO IT ALONE! I’LL MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EVERYTHING YOU NEED FOR AN AMAZING SESSION.
Once we know we’re a great fit, we’ll send you a private booking link with everything you need to reserve your session.
You’ll choose your session date, review and sign your photography agreement, and pay the $395 Session Fee. Once those pieces are complete, you’re officially booked!
From there, we’ll schedule your personalized Zoom planning appointment with Angela and Ish and start bringing all the details together.

WE’LL MAKE SURE YOU FEEL READY, WITHOUT GIVING YOU A HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT.
Once you're booked, we'll meet on Zoom to plan your session together.
We'll talk through wardrobe, location, the people being photographed, and what you'd love to capture. It's also the perfect time to ask questions and make sure everyone feels comfortable and prepared.
No questionnaires or lengthy session guides; just a real conversation so we can get to know you and create a session that feels like you.

GET READY TO SMILE, LAUGH, AND MAYBE EVEN WIPE AWAY A TEAR AS you view your images in your private gallery.
Within approximately three weeks of your session, you'll receive a private online gallery of your edited images.
You'll be able to choose your favorite and purchase exactly what you love. You can select a single digital image, a collection of 10 or 20, or your complete gallery. Professional prints and artwork are also available directly through your gallery store.
And if you'd rather have a little help deciding, we're happy to schedule an optional ordering appointment and walk through everything with you.

Once you've chosen your favorites, purchased digital images will be available to download directly from your private gallery.
If you've ordered professional prints or artwork, those pieces will be carefully produced and delivered according to the product you've selected.
Whether your favorites end up framed on the wall, tucked into an album, shared with family, or simply making you smile every time you see them, we hope they remind you of exactly who you and your loved ones were in this season of life.

A personalized portrait experience for one child, tween, teen, or graduating senior.
The $395 non-refundable Session Fee reserves your session and includes planning, up to 60 minutes of photography, professional editing, and a private online gallery to view your finished portraits.
Digital images, prints, and artwork are purchased separately after your session. Digital image collections begin at $950, with individual images also available. Professional prints and artwork begin at $125.
There is no minimum purchase. You choose only what you love!
